Arts center introduces lunch-time Backyard Pickin’

LUDINGTON – Local musicians and music lovers are invited to Ludington Area Center for the Arts (LACA) to enjoy Backyard Pickin’ each Wednesday through the summer. LACA is introducing these casual, acoustic jam sessions on Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.  in the backyard at the Arts Center located at 107 S. Harrison Street in downtown Ludington.

The public is invited to bring a blanket or lawn chair and a sack lunch and listen to local musicians play acoustic sets in a relaxed atmosphere.  Any musicians interested in sitting in on the jam sessions are invited to bring their instruments and join in.  In the event of inclement weather, activities will be moved inside the Arts Center.
