Arraignments this week include robbery, firearms, jail contraband

LUDINGTON — The following were arraigned recently in front of the 79th District Court Magistrate:

Felonies

– Daryl Eugene Essex, 32, of 5378 N. 88th Ave., Hart, was arrested June 24 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) for felonies of safe breaking, first-degree home invasion, larceny of firearms, felony firearms and habitual offender, fourth conviction. A preliminary exam is set for July 2 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $15,000/cash/surety.

– Jaralee Chaloux Sobers, 30, of 412 Thornwild, Apt. A2, Scottville, was arrested June 17 by MCSO for a felony of unarmed robbery. A preliminary exam is set for July 2 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $75,000/cash/surety.

– Wesley Donald Hackert, 27, no address listed, was arrested June 22 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) for a felony of first-degree home invasion. A pretrial is set for July 2 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $15,000/cash/surety.

– Xaviera Clarice Stockwell, 34, of 507 Sixth St., Ludington, was arrested June 23 by MCSO on two felony counts of jails – prisoner possessing contraband. A preliminary exam is set for July 2 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000/personal.

– Austin William Bucholz, 18, of 1914 W. Dewey Rd., Scottville, was arrested June 24 by the State, Sheriffs’, Chiefs’ Enforcement of Narcotics Team (SSCENT) on four felony counts of controlled substance delivery. A preliminary exam is set for July 2 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000/personal.

– Sean Russell Daugherty, 30, of 113 Courtland St., Hart, was arrested June 19 by the Michigan State Police, Hart post (MSP-H) for a felony of possession of marijuana, second offense and operating a motor vehicle without security. A preliminary exam is set for July 2 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Patrick Masiwchuk, 32, no address listed, was arrested May 9 by SSCENT for a felony of controlled substance delivery. A preliminary exam is set for July 2 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

– Rafael Segundo Ortiz, 18, of 6612 Linden St., Ludington, was arrested June 18 by MCSO on two felony counts of controlled substance possession. A preliminary exam is set for July 2 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $35,000/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

– Sean James McKenna, 21, of 207 N. Harrison St., Ludington, was arrested June 18 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of operating while intoxicated. A pretrial is set for July 14 at 10:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Marceline M. Jackson, 32, of 3614 N. Amber Rd., Scottville, was arrested May 12 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of domestic violence. A pretrial is set for July 17 at 2 p.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.

– Ryan Allen Stever, 21, of 6721 W. Hermitage, Ludington, was arrested June 19 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of domestic violence. A pretrial is set for July 14 at 11:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Bobbi Jean Latty, 33, of 809 W. Sugar Grove Rd., Scottville, was arrested June 19 by MSP-H for a misdemeanor of domestic violence. A pretrial is set for July 7 at 3:15 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Elida Valeria Rocha, 35, of 5742 N. 126th Ave., Hart, was arrested June 19 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of larceny under $200, second offense. A pretrial is set for July 14 at 11:45 a.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

– Whitney Leigh Petersen, 19, of 1008 Brookridge Rd., Ludington, was arrested June 23 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of DWLS. A pretrial was set for June 23 at 2:45 p.m. Bail: $1,500/personal.

– Nicole Lynn Boles, 38, of 5111 N. William St., Fountain, was arrested June 22 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of second-degree retail fraud. A pretrial is set for July 7 at 2:15 p.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

– Justin Allen Tanis, 28, of 2195 N. Jebavy, Ludington, was arrested June 22 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of domestic violence. A pretrial is set for July 7 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Mariah Mae Brault, 20, of 610 Second St., Ludington, was arrested June 20 by LPD for a misdemeanor of domestic violence. A pretrial is set for July 14 at 10 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Nicholas James Zbojniewics, 33, of 926 E. Tinkham Ave., Ludington, was arrested June 21 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of check – nonsufficient. A pretrial is set for July 14 at 11 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Austin William Buchholz, 18, of 1817 W. Conrad Rd., Ludington/1914 W. Dewey Rd., Scottville, was arrested June 21 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of controlled substance, possession of marijuana. Then, on June 24, he was arrested by MCSO for a misdemeanor of assault and battery. A pretrial is set for June 27 at 10 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Chassidy Ann Haynes, 26, of 7561 E. Beech St., Fountain, was arrested June 21 by LPD for a misdemeanor of domestic violence. A pretrial is set for July 14 at 2 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Loretta Lucine Surplice, 20, no address listed, was arrested June 23 by LPD for a misdemeanor of assault and battery. A pretrial is set for July 21 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Kevin Quincy McKinney, 34, of 1681 Rivercrest, Baldwin, was arrested June 22 by MSP-H for a misdemeanor of domestic violence. A pretrial is set for July 14 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.
