HAMLIN TWP. — Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital volunteers will present the fourth annual Art at Rest auction on Sunday, June 22 at Lincoln Hills Golf Club in Ludington, from noon to 4 p.m. The fundraising event features hand-painted Adirondack chairs and other unique items hand-decorated by local artists.
Viewing of the live and silent auction items begins at noon with the live auction starting at 1 p.m.
Tickets are $25 per person, which includes a bidding number, hors d’oeuvres, and a raffle ticket to win one of the hand-painted Adirondack chairs.
“This year’s Art at Rest features more than 30 pieces by local artists,” said co-chair Sheila Preston. “In addition to our traditional Adirondack chairs, we have various children’s items such as picnic tables, step stools and rocking horses. Well, some are actually ‘rocking ducks’ that really have to be seen to be appreciated!”
Proceeds go toward the Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital volunteers’ pledge that made possible the new on-site emergency helicopter transport service and family consult room in the new emergency department.
Added co-chair Anne Kivela, “We have a great variety of beautiful hand-decorated furniture by our local artists to add flair to your deck or home. An extensive silent auction of items contributed by local businesses and individuals will also be held.”
Tickets are available in the Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital Gift Shop, in the Administration Office, or by logging on to www.spectrumhealth.org/
