Gas station robbery suspect arrested in Kent County

LUDINGTON — A 30-year-old Mason County woman was arrested Wednesday night by Kent County Sheriff’s Office in connection to Tuesday morning’s robbery at the Admiral gas station in Scottville.

Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole said deputies, along with Scottville Police Department, executed a search warrant in Scottville Wednesday and found evidence linking the woman to the robbery.

Cole said the woman was found to be in Kent County. Deputies there made the arrest and she will be transported back to Mason County today where she will be arraigned in 79th District Court.

Cole said he did not want to release any more information at this time until detectives could interview the suspect.
