Chamber seeking Gus Busters

LUDINGTON — The Ludington & Scottville Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking volunteers for Gus Busters, court monitor, for the 2014 Gus Macker 3-on-3 Charity Basketball Tournament.

The tournament is scheduled for Saturday, June 21, 2014 and Sunday, June 22, 2014. The Ludington Gus Macker 3-on-3 Charity Basketball Tournament is considered the premier Gus Macker Tournament in the nation and is celebrating its 23^rd anniversary this year.

Gus Busters who monitor the games during the tournament are not required to be certified; they are only required to be familiar with the game of basketball. Participating volunteers receive a compensation package for their time and effort.

All interested volunteers are required to attend an orientation meeting on Friday, June 20 at 7 p.m. at Ludington City Hall, 400 S. Harrison St.
