Sheriff’s office investigating shot cat complaint

VICTORY TWP. — Sheriff deputies from Mason County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shot cat complaint in the 400 block of West Millerton Road Wednesday at 9:05 a.m. The case, technically classified as malicious destruction of property, remains under investigation.

Other activity of the MCSO for May 14, 2014 included:

– 6:32 a.m.: Assist to Michigan State Police at a traffic crash, U.S. 10 and Benson Rd., Branch Twp.

– 7:30 p.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, U.S. 31 expressway and Meisenheimer Rd. overpass, Summit Twp.
