Shakespeare Reading Group to meet Thursday

LUDINGTON –The interactive Shakespeare Reading Group meets Thursday, May 8 at the Ludington Area Center for the Arts at 7 p.m. in the Performance Underground Room 101, downstairs at the arts center. The group will begin its reading of “Othello.”

Open to all who have a “Love of Shakespeare,” the group meets once a month for about two hours to read from the works of The Bard. Participants take on a role of one of the actors and read their parts. An informal discussion is held at the end of each scene. This is strictly for fun; no homework is assigned, no tests are given, no grades are awarded.

Participants are asked to bring their own copy of Shakespeare’s works and to contribute $3 toward facility usage ($2 for LACA members).
