79th District Court arraignments, as of April 23, 2014

LUDINGTON – The following were arraigned this past week before the 79^th District Court Magistrate:

Felony

Brian Blackburn

–          Brian Keith Blackburn, 24, of 603 N. Delia St., Ludington, was arrested April 16 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) for felonies of operating under the influence of liquor; failure to stop – serious impairment; two counts of resisting/opposing a police officer; possession of marijuana and operating while intoxicated, second offense. A preliminary exam is set for April 30 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $50,000/cash/surety. Blackburn is accused of striking Scott Dumas, 50, of Amber Township, with a vehicle in the parking lot of Shop-N-Save grocery store in Pere Marquette Township.

Misdemeanor

–          Ricky Dean Plasterer, 41, of 3343 E. Hansen Rd., Custer, was arrested April 20 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of DWLS. A pretrial is set for May 5 at 11:30 a.m. Bail: $1,500/10 percent.
