Local writers to meet April 26

LUDINGTON – On Saturday, April 26, local writers will present brief memoir chapters at the Book Mark located at 201 South Rath St.  Sponsored by the Westside Writers Gang, a branch of the Ludington Area Center for the Arts, the reading is a culmination of a one-day workshop “Memoir Writing Through Memorabilia”.

“I was inspired by Dawn Raffel’s book ‘The Secret Life of Objects’. Its chapters are short; anywhere from a quarter of a page to four or five,” said presenter Linda Sandow. “The economy of her writing inspired me to continue my second memoir, one of my later years and to offer this workshop.”
