HART — A meeting addressing area Internet access will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Hart Middle School. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss improving Internet access and adoption of broadband Internet in west Michigan.
Local government officials, Internet service providers, health and public safety officials, representatives of area chambers of commerce, school districts and local libraries and interested residents of Oceana, Muskegon, Newaygo and Mason counties are invited to attend.
Sen. Goeff Hansen, R-Hart, a member of the Senate Economic Development Committee, will be present.
The discussion will be facilitated by Connect Michigan, a subsidiary of Connected Nation that operates as a non-profit organization to support Michigan’s reinvention and technological transformation.
