Shakespeare group to meet

LUDINGTON — The interactive Shakespeare Reading Group will meet Thursday, April 10 at 7 p.m. at the Ludington Area Center for the Arts, room 201. The group will complete its reading of “Midsummer Night’s Dream,” starting with Act III, Scene 2.

Open to all who have a “Love of Shakespeare,” the group meets once a month for about two hours to read from the works of The Bard. Participants take on a role of one of the actors and read their parts. An informal discussion is held at the end of each scene. This is strictly for fun; no homework is assigned, no tests are given, no grades are awarded.

Participants are asked to bring their own copy of Shakespeare’s works and to contribute $3 toward facility usage ($2 for LACA members).
