Deputies make several arrests since Friday

Deputies from Mason County Sheriff’s Office made several arrests since Friday, mostly involving alcohol and marijuana. The following is the activity of MCSO from March 14 to March 17, 2014:

March 14:

– 6:10 a.m.: Car/deer, no injuries, Pere Marquette Hwy. and Kistler Rd., Summit Twp.

– 6:39 a.m.: Reported prowler (unfounded), 5700 block of West Johnson Rd., Pere Marquette Twp. Caller reported possible prowler. Responding deputy found the car port had collapsed due to snow on the roof.

– 10:52 a.m.: Traffic hazard, Johnson and Reek roads, Custer Twp: Report of cows in the road, owner notified.

– 11:43: Gas drive off of $35, 5600 block of West U.S. 10, PM Twp.

– 12:15 p.m.: Car/deer, no injuries, U.S. 10 and Gordon Rd., Amber Twp.

– 2:36 p.m.: A 33-year-old Ludington man was arrested for driving while license suspended, second offense following a traffic stop at U.S. 10 and PM Hwy., PM Twp.

– 6:30 p.m.: Two vehicle crash, no injuries, U.S. 10 and Benson Rd., Branch Twp.

March 15:

– 10:52 a.m.: A 17-year-old Custer man and a 19-year-old Scottville man were both arrested for possession of marijuana following a traffic stop at U.S. 10 and Reek Rd., Custer Twp.

– 11:56 a.m.: A 30-year-old Scottville man was arrested for driving while license suspended following a traffic stop at U.S. 10 and PM Hwy., PM Twp.

– 4:22 p.m.: A 27-year-old Ludington woman and her 26-year-old female passenger, also from Ludington, were both cited for open intoxicants in a motor vehicle following a traffic stop at Sixth St. and Conrad Industrial Dr., PM Twp.

– 7:24 p.m.: A 59-year-old Ludington man was arrested for open intoxicants in a motor vehicle following a traffic stop at U.S. 10 and Meyers Rd., PM Twp.

March 16:

– 2:47 a.m.: Three people were cited for open intoxicants in a motor vehicle following a traffic stop at Hansen and Quarterline roads, Amber Twp. Cited were three women, a 23-year-old from Ludington; 24-year-old from Scottville and 30-year-old from Fountain.

– 4:28 a.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Hansen and Stiles roads, Amber Twp.

– 4:30 a.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Iris Rd. and PM Hwy., PM Twp.

– 2:53 p.m.: A 22-year-old Mears man was arrested and charged with violation of the medical marijuana act following a traffic stop at PM Hwy. and Hesslund Rd., PM Twp.

– 8:41 a.m.: A 21-year-old Custer man was arrested for domestic violence following a traffic stop at Millerton and Schoenherr roads, Sheridan Twp.

March 17:

– 1:20 p.m.: Report of a stolen vehicle from a residence in the 700 block of North Dennis Rd., Amber Twp. A 2004 Cadillac was reported stolen. It was later recovered by Ludington Police Dept. in the City of Ludington.

– 5:13 p.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Campbell and Anthony roads, Logan Twp.

– 7:59 p.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Reek and Dewey roads, Sheridan Twp.

– 11:51 p.m.: A 25-year-old Scottville woman was cited for DWLS following a traffic stop at U.S. 10 and Benson Rd., Branch Twp.
