Shamrock parade entries being accepted

LUDINGTON — Entries are being accepted for  the March 15, 2014 Downtown Ludington Shamrock Parade presented by Sportsman’s Irish Pub.

Individuals, groups of friends and families, businesses or organizations are invited to participate. Entries include traditional floats, groups of irishmen and/or women, pets dressed in holiday attire, musical groups, or any creative entry.

It is encouraged that all entries use lots of green (decorations, outfits, etc) as it is in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day! Candy or small items may be handed out along the parade route, but not thrown. There is no fee to participate in the parade. The parade beings at noon on South James Street and will proceed west on Ludington Avenue back to South Rath Ave.

Please submit your entry form by Monday, March 10 by 5 p.m. to the City of Ludington.
