Man injured in Grant Twp. snowmobile crash

GRANT TWP. — A 40-year-old Ludington man was injured Saturday night after he apparently lost control of his snowmobile and hit a tree. The crash occurred around 7:45 p.m. on Green Road near Nurnberg Road. The man was transported to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital by Life EMS ambulance where he was treated for his injuries. Also at the scene were deputies from Mason County Sheriff’s Office and personnel from Grant Twp. Fire Dept.

Feb. 14

– 2:22 a.m.: Assist to Ludington Police Dept. at Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital.

– 12:42 p.m.: Gas drive off of $31, Admiral Gas Station, 400 block of East U.S. 10, Custer Township.

– 2:42 p.m.: One vehicle crash, no inures, Stiles and Sugar Grove roads, Victory Twp.

– 4:01 p.m.: Assist to LPD, East Third Street, City of Ludington.

– 4:36 p.m.: One vehicle crash, no injuries, Jebavy Dr. and U.S. 10, Pere Marquette Twp.

– 11:10 p.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Chauvez Rd. east of PM Hwy., PM Twp.

Feb. 15

– Midnight: A 39-year-old Shelby man was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended following a traffic stop at U.S. 10-31 and Dennis Rd., Amber Twp.

– 1 a.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Custer and Kinney roads, Eden Twp.

– 10:07 a.m.: Attempted breaking and entering, 2600 block of North Lakeshore Dr., Hamlin Twp.

– 3:11 a.m.: Traffic assist to Scottville Fire Dept., house fire, 2900 block of West Hansen Rd., Amber Twp.

– 11:18 a.m.: Two vehicle broadside crash, no injuries, Cambridge and Washington roads, PM Twp.

– 3:39 p.m.: A 24-year-old Fountain man was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Mason County in the 7100 block of East Stolberg Rd., Sheridan Twp.

Feb. 16

– 9:16 a.m.: A 30-year-old Freeland man was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of drugs at Fountain and LaSalle roads in Victory Twp. Deputies were called to the incident following a complaint about a reckless driver in Hamlin Twp.

– 9:16 a.m.: One vehicle crash, no injuries, Jebavy Dr. and Angling Rd., Hamlin Twp.

– 10 a.m.: Two vehicle rear-end crash, no injuries, Main and Jefferson streets, Village of Custer.

– 2:16 p.m.: A 27-year-old Walhalla man was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant out of Big Rapids Police Dept. at Walhalla Rd. and U.S. 10 in Branch Twp.

– 7 p.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Pere Marquette Hwy. and First St., PM Twp.

– 9:05 p.m.: Alarm activation, 3800 block of West U.S. 10, Amber Twp.
