Are you enjoying today’s sunshine? Take it while you can get it because there is a winter weather advisory in effect from noon Monday until 4 a.m. Tuesday.
The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids has issued a winter weather advisory for snow developing west to east across the area Monday afternoon. Forecasters are calling for snowfall rates of half an inch to 1 inch per hour possible briefly late Monday afternoon and early into the evening. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches can be expected before the snow ends Monday evening.
In the meantime, expect clear skies throughout the day and evening today with a high of 22 degrees F and low of 9.
Monday’s high temperature will be 22 with winds southeast at 15 to 25 mph. Low Monday night of 19 with winds south at 11 mph.
Tuesday, expect temperatures above freezing! There is a high of 35 expected with a low of 23.
