– Neal Alexander Wroble, 25, of 6773 Sassafras Rd., Ludington, was found guilty Dec. 10, 2013 of financial transaction devise – retain without consent. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail with credit for 159 days served; 24 months probation; and $901 in fines, costs and restitution. One count habitual offender, second conviction, was dismissed in a plea agreement.
– Samuel Donald Morse, 43, of 2023 N. Benson Rd., Fountain, was found guilty Dec. 17, 2013 of two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, less than 50 grams and habitual offender, fourth conviction. He was sentenced to two concurrent one-year jail terms with credit for two days served; must successfully complete one year in a residential substance abuse treatment program; if program is successfully completed, credit will be given for time served; if not successfully completed, 10 additional months will be served in jail; 24 months probation; $1,076 in fines, costs and restitution; driver’s license suspended 60 days; restricted 305 days.
– Renee Lynn Hansen, 47, of 4688 W. US-10, Ludington, was found guilty Jan. 7 of embezzlement over $100/less than $50,000. She was sentenced to one year in jail with credit for one day served; must serve six months up front with the balance to be served at the court’s discretion; $53,000 in restitution; $498 in fines and costs; and five years probation. UPDATE: Conviction expunged Sept. 24, 2024.
