Next week, Eric Knysz will go on trial in 51st Circuit Court for the Sept. 9, 2013 murder of Michigan State Police Trooper Paul Butterfield. This trial is expected to last nine days. Mason County Press was the first news organization to break the story of Trooper Butterfield’s shooting and we plan on covering the trial from beginning to end.
