Art center photo contest

LUDINGTON – Ludington Area Center for the Arts announces the 6th Annual Online Photo Contest.

Started in Fall 2008, this contest, sponsored by Todd & Brad Reed Photography, recognizes the talents of amateur and professional photographers and benefits the gallery space at LACA.  The annual fundraising event occurs each February and its proceeds have recently been used to upgrade the LACA gallery exhibition space with improved lighting and movable exhibit walls.  The first exhibit using these walls, Pieces by Jovonnah Nicholson, can be visited in the LACA Main Gallery, Thursday – Saturday noon-5 p.m. through the end of February.

The entry process is much improved this year making it easier to submit entries and donate to this great cause!  In addition, the contest is now split into two divisions: an amateur division and a professional/semi-pro division.
