3 arrested over weekend

Three people were arrested over the weekend by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office. Below is information on those arrest and other activity of deputies.

Jan. 31

– 2:47 a.m.: Alarm activation, 200 block of South Main St., City of Scottville.

– 7:26 a.m.: One vehicle rollover crash, no injuries, Lakeshore Dr. and Abrahamson Rd., Hamlin Twp. A 22-year-old Ludington man was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, first offense.

– 7:55 a.m.: Two vehicle crash, no injuries, Iris Rd. and Pere Marquette Hwy., Pere Marquette Twp.

– 9:47 a.m.: Gas drive off of $7.44, Airport EZ Mart, U.S. 10, PM Twp.

– 1:11 p.m.: Two vehicle broadside crash, no injuries, Morse and Dewey roads, Sheridan Twp.

– 2:15 p.m.: Two vehicle broadside crash, minor injuries, Goff and Eveline roads, Branch Twp. A 21-year-old Branch woman received minor injuries in the crash.

– 2:27 p.m.: Two vehicle rear-end crash, no injuries, U.S. 10 and Amber Rd., Amber Twp.

– 3:35 p.m.: Vehicle vs. snowmobile, with injuries, U.S. 10 and Amber Rd., Amber Twp. See related story here.

– 6:53 p.m.: Unwanted person call, Best Western Hotel, U.S. 10, PM Twp. Subject left when asked by deputies.

– 7:13 p.m.: Retail fraud, Airport EZ Mart, U.S. 10, PM Twp. Liquor stolen from store, case open.

Feb. 1

– 11:11 a.m.: Two vehicle broadside crash, Myers and Sixth St., PM Twp.

– 12:14 p.m.: Semi truck slide off, no injuries/damage, westbound U.S. 10 off ramp from northbound U.S. 31, Amber Twp.

– 12:55 p.m.: Unwanted person call, Baymont Inn, U.S. 10 and Brye Rd., Amber Twp. Subject left without incident.

– 4:14 p.m.: Assist to Ludington Police Dept. with traffic crash, Jackson Rd. south of U.S. 10, City of Ludington. See related story here.

– 4:22 p.m.: Warrant arrest from a traffic stop, U.S. 10 and Meyers Rd., PM Twp. A 36-year-old Branch man was arrested on an outstanding Oceana County friend of the court warrant.

– 5:15 p.m.: Private property snowmobile crash, with injuries, Sheridan Twp. A 45-year-old Royal Oak woman was operating a snowmobile on private land and struck a tree. Self transported to the hospital.

– 9:49 p.m.: Gas drive off of $44.50, Scottville EZ Mart, U.S. 10, Custer Twp.

Feb. 2

– 1:07 a.m.: Traffic stop resulting in arrest of a 39-year-old Ludington man in the City of Ludington. He was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, third offense.

– 2 a.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, U.S. 31 and LaSalle Rd., Grant Twp.

– 5:28 a.m.: Alarm activation, 4600 block of West U.S. 10, Amber Twp.
