Whiteout causes head-on crash

CUSTER TWP. — Near whiteout conditions appeared to be the cause of a head-on crash Thursday morning on Hansen Road between Bean and Tuttle roads. It was reported that three people were injured.

At times visibility to that location from U.S. 31 was nearly zero visibility. Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Scottville Fire Dept., Custer Fire Dept. and Life EMS responded.
