Ambulance from Mason Co flips in Muskegon

MUSKEGON CO — A Life EMS ambulance transferring a mother and baby from Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital to Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids flipped on to its side Wednesday afternoon on U.S. 31 between the Russell Road and Holton Road (M-120) exits, Fox 17 reported. The ambulance was based out of Mason County.

According to reports, non of the passengers were injured. A Professional Med Team ambulance from Muskegon took over the transfer.

Multiple weather-related crashes occurred Wednesday on U.S. 31 in Muskegon County. A multiple car crash near Laketon Avenue shut down the expressway at one point.
