Scottville Blizzard Blast is Saturday

SCOTTVILLE — The Scottville Blizzard Blast will take place this Saturday, Jan. 25 at the Scottville Area Senior Center, Scottville Optimist Center and the Charles Thompson Memorial Green, located near the Scottville Clown Band Shell.

Below is the schedule:

* Chili Cook-Off & Quilt Show, 11:30am-2pm, Scottville Area Senior Center.

The events below all take place at the Scottville Optimist Building from 11am-2pm.

* Free Children’s Games and giveaways.
* Battle of the Beards; sign in at 1pm.
* Entertainment by John Marek.
* Improvika–The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe skits throughout the event.
* Phil Gigante, Interactive Story Reading.
* Craft/Bake Sale.
* Snowman making contest. Bring your own accessories. Judging is at noon.
* Sled dog exhibition.
* Horse pulled wagon rides.
* Chicken bowling, sled racing, jalopy racing, s’mores…and so much more!
