Payment takes on new role at chamber

LUDINGTON — Downtown Ludington businesswoman Megan Payment has been hired full-time as the Ludington & Scottville Area Chamber of Commerce’s Event Coordinator. Payment replaces Kristen O’Hare who is leaving the chamber for a job in Grand Rapids. Payment has worked in various capacities at the chamber since 2008. Since early 2013 she has worked part time as a marketing/communications assistant to the Downtown Ludington board, a role she will continue. Her position with the chamber is a joint effort with the Ludington Area Visitor and Convention Bureau.

O’Hare started working for the chamber as an intern for three summers prior to being hired full time in 2012.  “Kristen has done as exceptional job and has taken each event to a new level,” said Kathy Maclean, chamber president/CEO.
