Manistee man sentenced to up to 35 years for raping child

LUDINGTON — The 19-year-old Manistee man who raped a 9-year-old boy last year was sentenced today in 51st Circuit Court. Dalton Willard will spend 25 to 35 years in prison for criminal sexual conduct first degree against a person under 13-years-old. In November 2013, he accepted a plea from the prosecutor’s office. He will also serve 9 to 35 years for kidnapping.

Willard accepted a plea that he committed criminal sexual conduct first degree against a Grant Township boy.
