The following were arraigned this past week in 79th District Court.

Felonies
– James Phillip Biggin II, 27, of 143 N. Jebavy Dr., Apt. 13, Ludington, was arrested Dec. 17 for felonies of welfare fraud over $500, welfare fraud, failure to inform; and habitual offender, fourth offense. A preliminary exam is set for Dec. 23 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $3,500/personal.
– Zachary Malott, 23, of 214 E. Melendy St., Apt. 3, Ludington, was arrested Dec. 12 by the State, Sheriffs’, Chiefs’ Enforcement of Narcotics Team (SSCENT) for felonies of controlled substance, delivery/manufacture of marijuana and controlled substance, possession of analogues. A preliminary exam is set for Dec. 23 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $7,500/cash/surety/10 percent cash.
– Charles William boon, 25, of 214 E. Melendy At., Apt. 3, Ludington, was arrested Dec. 12 by SSCENT for five felony counts of controlled substance, delivery/manufacture of marijuana with intent. A preliminary exam is set for Dec. 23 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $10,000/cash/surety/10 percent cash.
– Charles Michael Yeck, 27, of 6433 W. Dewey Rd., Ludington, was arrested Dec. 12 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) for a felony of OWI, third offense and DWLS. A preliminary exam is set for Dec. 23 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $3,500/personal recognizance.
– Demetrius Darnell Jamason, 27, of 405 S. Madison, Apt. 2, Ludington, was arrested Dec. 11 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) for a felony of domestic violence, third offense. A preliminary exam is set for Dec. 23 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.
Misdemeanor
– Benjamin August Miller, 44, of 804 E. Filer St., Ludington, was arrested Dec. 13 by LPD for a misdemeanor of operating while intoxicated. A pretrial is set for Jan. 27 at 9:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.
