Ludington Fire Dept. open house

LUDINGTON — Ludington Fire Department will hold an open house on Wednesday, October 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Ludington Fire Station. Attendees are asked to bring a canned good and/or nonperishable food item, which will be donated to the Salvation Army.

Activities will include the smoke trailer, Mr. Fireman, teaching kids how to stop drop and roll, along with fire truck tours.

The department is partnering with Lakeview and Franklin elementary schools for the food drive. The class that brings in the most items will receive a ride on one of Ludington Fire Department’s trucks.
