LUDINGTON – The following defendants were sentenced this past week in 79th District Court:
– Lori Ann Holden, 35, of 309 N. Washington Ave., Apt. 1, Ludington, was found guilty Sept. 10 of third-degree retail fraud. She was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend Economic Crime Program; and $588.67 in fines, costs and restitution. One count of third-degree retail fraud was dismissed.
– Travis Alan Vorhase, 19, of 105 E. First St., Apt. 202, Scottville, was found guilty Sept. 10 of third-degree retail fraud. He was sentenced to 29 days in jail with credit for 29 days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must obtain high school education; must attend school every day with no absences or tardies; and $581 in fines, costs and restitution.
– Elmer Owen-Allound Harvey, Jr., 42, of 293 Gibson Rd., Branch, was found guilty Sept. 10 of assault and battery (A & B) and pleaded no contest to driving while license suspended (DWLS). He was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one days served; $1,060 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail for one year (A & B) and 93 days discretionary jail for two years (DWLS); no contact with victims; no alcohol/drugs; and subject to random preliminary breath tests (PBTs). Conviction is reportable to SOS. One count of malicious destruction of a building, less than $200, was dismissed.
– Richard Allen Patrick, 45, of 5915 Third St., Ludington, was found guilty Sept. 10 of receiving and concealing stolen property. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend the Economic Crime Program; $580 in fines and costs; and restitution is reserved. One count of larceny less than $200 was dismissed.
– Eric Odell Lewis, 19, of 4435 S. Yale Ave., Baldwin, was found guilty Sept. 10 of A & B. He was sentenced to six days in jail with credit for six days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and $580 in fines and costs.
Dismissal
– Trevor James Coon, 19, of 308 E. Court St., Apt. 7, Ludington, one count of controlled substance, possession of marijuana, was dismissed Sept. 3.
