WSCC free bus rides

VICTORY TWP. — West Shore Community College will again offer free bus transportation to the college from Ludington, Manistee and Scottville.

Beginning today, there will be three round-trips Monday through Thursday, arriving at the campus early morning, before noon, and in the mid-afternoon. There is no service on Friday.

The buses depart from and return to Ludington’s Rath Avenue and Loomis Street parking lot, Manistee’s Memorial Drive parking lot, and Scottville’s municipal parking lot, behind West Shore Bank.

The free service is available until May 2, 2014 and is provided by Manistee County Transportation, Inc. and the Ludington Mass Transit Authority.

The schedule is:

• Ludington departures — Rath Avenue and Loomis Street parking lot: 7 a.m., 11 a.m., and 3:15 p.m.

– Manistee departures — Memorial Drive parking lot: 7 a.m., 11 a.m., and 3:15 p.m.

– Scottville departures — west parking lot near West Shore Bank: 7:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 3:30 p.m.

– WSCC departures — Technical Center parking lot: 7:35 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 4:30 p.m.

– WSCC arrivals — Technical Center parking lot: 7:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 3:45 p.m.

There will be no service from Nov. 27-29 for Thanksgiving break and March 31 to April 4, 2014 for spring break.
