Earlier this summer, Rob and I wanted to try something different in our garden. We planted tomatillos. As they are ripening right now I can’t help but feel like this is such a magical process. The fruit develops from a bright yellow blossom and swells into a lime green lantern bloom.
As they are ready to be picked the husks start to turn light tan and burst to allow you to see the surprise inside. We can’t wait to try them. We would love for you to share your favorite tomatillos recipes. You may grown them, buy them at a local farmers market or use a canned version.
Whatever way you use, them please share your recipes on the MCP Facebook page!
