LUDINGTON — The following were arraigned this past week in front of the magistrate in 79th District Court.
Felonies
– Bryan Jacob Carroll, 29, of 589 N. 136th Ave., Hart, was arrested July 7 by MCSO for felonies of fleeing a police officer and third-degree resisting/obstructing a police officer. A preliminary exam is set for July 17 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000/cash/surety/10 percent.
– Ryan Keith Shurlow, 20, of 3811 N. US-31, Scottville, was arrested July 3 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) for felonies of third-degree criminal sexual conduct (CSC) and possession of child sexually explicit material. A preliminary exam is set for July 17 at 11:15 a.m.Bail: $5,000/10 percent.
Misdemeanors
– Christopher Jon Hodde, 50, of 1468 N. Dennis Rd., Ludington, was arrested July 2 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) for misdemeanors of controlled substance, possession of marijuana and driving while license suspended (DWLS), second offense. A preliminary exam is set for July 17 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.
– Michael Lee Terryn, 41, of 526 Johnson St., Hart, was arrested July 5 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of DWLS. A pretrial is set for July 15 at 10:45 a.m. Bail: $1,500/10 percent.
– Jeffrey Clay Young, 43, no address listed, was arrested July 4 by the Michigan State Police, Hart post (MSP-H) for a misdemeanor of DWLS and operating a motor vehicle without security. A pretrial is set for July 15 at 2:45 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.
– Chad Michael Looman, 40, of 6770 E. First St., Branch, was arrested July 7 by MSP-H for a misdemeanor of DWLS. A pretrial is set for July 22 at 10:45 a.m. Bail: $1,500/10 percent.
– Alex Robert Papes, 81, of 3069 E. Michigan St., Free Soil, was arrested July 7 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of second-offense operating while intoxicated. A pretrial is set for Aug. 15 at 9:45 a.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.
– Donald Lawrence Martin, 40, of 401 N. Delia St., Ludington was arrested July 6 by LPD for misdemeanors of operating with a blood alcohol content and operating while impaired. A pretrial is set for Aug. 5 at 10 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.
– Lori Margaret Snyder, 34, of 510 E. Ludington Ave., Ludington, was arrested July 10 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of DWLS. A pretrial is set for July 22 at 10 a.m. Bail: $1,500/10 percent.
– Melissa Irene Pettis, 38, of 8949 104th Ave., Pentwater, arrested July 11 by MSP-H for a misdemeanor of failure to maintain security. A pretrial is set for July 22 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $1,500/personal.
