LUDINGTON — The annual Mason County American Cancer Society Relay for Life takes place at Oriole Field beginning at noon on Saturday, June 22 and continues until 11 a.m. Sunday, June 23. More than 44 teams are expected with over 1,200 participants from Mason County and the surrounding area.
The purpose of the relay is to raise funds and awareness towards the battle against cancer. One out of every two men and one out of every three women will face a cancer diagnosis in his or her lifetime, according to statistics.
Though the event includes teams, anyone from the public is welcome to join in any activity of the event. Here is a schedule of events:
