Ludington school board budget hearing

LUDINGTON — The Ludington Area Schools Board of Education will hold a special meeting on Monday, June 17, 2013, at 6 p.m.

The purpose of the meeting is to hold a public hearing for the proposed 2013-2014 budget.

The meeting will take place at the Central Business Office, 809 East Ave.

The board may not adopt its proposed budget until after a public hearing. A copy of the proposed budget, including the proposed property tax millage rate, is available for public inspection on business days between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Central Business Office.

The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing.
