Man arrested for sexual conduct with 5-year-old

LUDINGTON — A 22-year-old Ludington man has been charged with criminal sexual conduct second degree in connection with an incident with a 5-year-old female. The Mason County Sheriff’s Office arrested Matthew Weber Tuesday for the alleged event that took place June 8.

The sheriff’s office reports the victim is a relative of Weber. He was arrested and arraigned and is currently at the Mason County Jail with a $10,000 cash bond.

A preliminary examination in 79th District Court is scheduled for June 19 at 11:15 a.m.
