SCOTTVILLE — South Main Tavern in downtown Scottville is presenting two comedy acts on June 29. Owner Brad Hackert said the comedy show in May was sold out and he heard great feedback about it.
“We are trying to do some different things and provide great entertainment for people,” Hackert said. “The comedy shows are fresh and the acts are top notch.”
The event features D.K. Hamilton and Dave Dyer.
Hamilton entertains his audience by giving a unique and sardonic take on pop culture, current events and relationships between men and women, which he describes as “battles of wills.”
He is a two-time winner of Grand Rapids’ popular Joke-Off.
Dyer has done comedy around the Midwest for eight years and has opened for Drew Carey, Louie Anderson and Louis Black. His humor exposes the everyday happenings that everyone experiences, but rarely take note.
Tickets can be purchased for $10 each from South Main Tavern or from its sister establishment, Cafe 106 on North Rath Avenue in Ludington. VIP Grub Club members receive a 50 percent discount on tickets.
The show begins at 9 p.m.
Due to adult comedy themes, this event is for ages 21 and over.
