LUDINGTON — The popular downtown Ludington Friday Night Live may expand another block if a request from the Downtown Ludington Board is approved by the City Council Monday night. The board is requesting permission to extend the event for July 26.
Friday Night Live is scheduled for July 19 and 26 and Aug. 2 and 9. Typically it is on Ludington Avenue from Harrison to Rath streets. The special request to extend two more blocks to William Street is due to two X-Games Gold Medal motor cyclists.
The Downtown Ludington Board is also requesting the use of the south end of the Jame Street Plaza on Aug. 9 from 9 p.m. to midnight for a garden party. The event will take place after the close of FNL and will include a band and beer tent area.
