LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced for felonies this week in 51st Circuit Court:
– Craig Allan Tyndall, 39, of 5988 West 6th St., Ludington, was found guilty May 21 of two counts of probation violation. For the first count, he was sentenced to one year and four months to two years with the Michigan Department of Corrections (MDOC) and was given credit for 392 days served in jail. He was also ordered to pay $2,926.95 in restitution, fines and costs. For the second count, he was sentenced to one year and nine months to seven years and six months with the MDOC. He was credited with 427 days in jail. He was ordered to pay fines and costs of $528. Both counts run concurrent.
– Scott Michael Cooper, 21, of 911 Pine St., Ludington was found guilty April 2 of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail with credit for 15 days served; serve three months up front with balance to be served at the court’s discretion; work release must meet Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) guidelines; 18 months probation; $498 in fines and costs; if probation is completed successfully, plea may be withdrawn and a plea to attempted resisting and obstructing will be entered. One count of fleeing a police officer, third degree, and one count of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer were dismissed.
– David Brian Richmond, Jr., 23, of 403 S. Madison, Spt. 2, Ludington, was found guilty Feb. 13 of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer and malicious destruction of property (MDOP) less than $200. He was sentenced May 14 to 270 days in jail with credit for 50 days served for the first count and 93 days in jail with credit for 50 days served for the second count. Counts run concurrent; must serve four months up front; balance to run at court’s discretion; 18 months probation; and $1,608.58 in fines, costs and restitution. One count of domestic violence was dismissed.
– William Rhody Dwyer, 44, of 3810 W. Pine View Court, Ludington, was found guilty July 17, 2012 of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and false pretenses $200-$1,000. He was sentenced May 14 to two current jail one-year terms with credit for one day served; serve one year at the court’s discretion with time served up front; 12 months probation; and $625 in fines and costs. One count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle was dismissed.
