Walk for Life raises $15,000 for pregnancy center

LUDINGTON — The West Shore Pregnancy Care Center’s 19^th annual fundraiser and awareness event Walk for Life was held Sunday.

Executive Director Tracey Chapman reported “an incredibly beautiful day and another great turnout of people for which we are so very thankful.”

“Only six weeks after our community helped us to raise nearly $30,000 in the Lake Jump to help us pay off our mortgage, they came together again with another nearly $15,000 in this year’s Walk for Life to go towards our operating costs. Without a doubt, this generosity has exceeded my expectations. How do I express thanks in such grand circumstances? I pray that each and every one that either donated, walked, and/or helped in some way would know the blessing that comes when we seek out what is on God’s heart and join in with Him. Our cup runneth over!”
