LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced this week at the Mason County Courthouse:
51st Circuit Court:
– Timothy Alan Lopez, 19, of 603 S. Washington Ave., Ludington, was found guilty of probation violation of a previous larceny of building conviction. He was sentenced May 8 to 365 days in jail with credit for 187 days served. He must serve 240 days up front with the balance to be served at the court’s discretion. Probation is extended one year.
79th District Court:
– Angela Beth Tanner, 33, of 3773 S. Masten Rd., Walhalla, was found guilty May 9 of disorderly person/public intoxication. She was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; $285 in fines and costs; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; no alcohol/drugs; must have substance evaluation and follow recommendations; random preliminary breath tests (PBTs).
– Roger Lee Johnson, Jr., 31, of 745 Beech St., Baldwin, was found guilty May 9 of disorderly person. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 12 months probation; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; mental health evaluation/counseling; $315 in fines and costs; and no alcohol/drugs.
– Wendy Lou Griffin, 39, of 1555 Broadway NW., Grand Rapids, was found guilty May 13 of breaking and entering without owner’s permission. She was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; $580 in fines and costs or 58 hours of community service; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; no contact with victim; and must seek and maintain employment.
Dismissals
– Brandi Sue Martinez, 20, of COVE, Ludington, one count of false pretenses – less than $200 was dismissed May 14.
– Patricia Green, 48, of 1992 Wood St., Muskegon, one count of operating while license suspended/revoked/denied dismissed May 14.
– William Dennis Downs, 53, of 54 E. 72nd St., Idlewild, Michigan, one count of larceny $200 or more/less than $1,000 and one count of stolen property – receiving and concealing $200 or more/less than $1,000 dismissed May 14.
