Mom’s day off benefit

PERE MARQUETTE TWP. – Calling all Moms: Come enjoy a fun day out and off! The Hospice Mask Project Committee will be holding “A Mom’s Day Off” on Saturday, May 11th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ludington United Methodist Church at 5810 Bryant Road.
A craft and vendor show will be held as part of the event. The $1 cover charge will buy a coupon book which includes savings at every booth. Vendors and crafters currently signed up for the show are: 31, Avon, Blessings Unlimited, Deb Mazur Creations, Diane’s Homemade Candy, Fia Fluff Diapers, Gluten Free Goodies & Treat Yourself Bakery, Herbalife, It Works, Jersey, Just Jewelry, Just Soap ‘n Stuff, Kris Castillo and Theresa Ely, Mary Kay, Pampered Chef, Pink Zebra, Scentsy, Tastefully Simple, The Jam Farm, The Shirt Lady, The Vintage Tub LLC, Tupperware, and the Way 2 Cute Boutique.
A “Pamper Parlor” will also be available and will offer the following services: makeup application by Christina Hendricks (please bring your own foundation), hand massage by Hospice of Michigan volunteers, hair feathers and colored hair extensions by Lisa Hughes, and neck massages by licensed massage therapist Marnee Furman.

The event will also include free childcare, a café style lunch available for purchase, a raffle, and door prizes. All proceeds benefit the local program of Hospice of Michigan, which services patients and families in Mason, Lake, Oceana, Benzie and Manistee counties.
Coupon books are $1 each and are available for purchase. They will also be available at the door. These make a great Mother’s Day gift for all the moms in your life and a great Mom’s Day Off activity together as well!
