LUDINGTON — Trial dates have been set for additional charges against Mark McCallum. McCallum was found guilty by a jury last week of parental kidnapping. He now faces charges of stealing a car, home invasion and embezzlement. The trial is set to being on May 21 at 9 a.m.
If he is found guilty on those charges they will run concurrent with the kidnapping sentence. Circuit Court Judge Richard Cooper is expected to sentence McCallum on two counts of parental kidnapping on April 22.
During McCallum’s week-long trial, he chose to defend himself. It has not yet been made known if he will follow the same strategy in the next trial.
