Arraignments

LUDINGTON – The following were arraigned this week in 79th District Court:

– Frederick James Lewis, 31, of 1048 N. Brandy Lane, Ludington, was arrested Feb. 12 by the Michigan State Police on two felony counts of criminal sexual conduct, first degree. CSC, first degree is the most serious of all sexual offenses and carries a maximum penalty of life in prison. Bail of $25,000 cash/surety was set. He was ordered to have no contact with the victim. A preliminary exam was scheduled for Feb. 27 at 11:15 a.m.
– Michael Lee Dwyer, 24, of 408 N. James St., Ludington, was arrested Feb. 17 by the Ludington Police Department on three counts – interference with an electronic communication device, domestic violence and assault and battery. Bail of $3,500 cash/surety/10 percent cash was set. A preliminary exam was scheduled for Feb. 27 at 11:15 a.m.
– Robert William Pierce, 32, of 2614 E. Sugargrove Rd., Custer, was arrested Feb. 17 by the Scottville Police Department for the misdemeanor of controlled substance. Bail of $2,500 cash/surety/10 percent cash was set. A preliminary exam was scheduled for March 11 at 2:45 p.m.
– Wayne Bradford Wheaton, 44, of 6867 E. US-10, Branch, was arrested Feb. 18 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office for the misdemeanor of domestic violence. Bail of $3,500 cash/surety/10 percent cash was set. A preliminary exam was scheduled for March 18 at 10:30 a.m.
– Robin Renee Depree-Owen, 41, of 7065 N. Dennis Rd., Ludington, was arrested Feb. 13 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office for the felony of controlled substance, second offense. Bail of $7,500 cash/surety/10 percent cash was set. A preliminary exam was scheduled for Feb. 27 at 11:15 a.m.
– Danyel Rebecca Horsley, 25, of 143 N. Jebavy Dr., #13, Ludington, was arrested Feb. 13 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office for a misdemeanor of driving while license suspended, second offense. Bail of $2,500, personal recognizance, was set. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 11 at 2:45 p.m.
– David Forrest Farrin, 54, of 463 N. Stiles Rd., Ludington, was arrested Feb. 10 for the misdemeanor of operating while impaired. Bail of $3,500 cash/surety/10 percent cash was set. A preliminary exam was scheduled for March 18 at 10:15 a.m.
– Cody William Duggins, 27, of 6613 E. Borowski Rd., Fountain, was arrested Feb. 10 for the misdemeanor of operating while impaired. Bail of $2,500 cash/surety/10 percent cash was set. A preliminary exam was scheduled for March 11 at 2:45 p.m.
– Thomas Roy Schneider, 27, of 501 N. Robert St., Ludington, was arrested Feb. 10 by the Ludington Police Department for the misdemeanor of driving while license suspended, second offense. Bail of $1,500 cash/surety/10 percent cash was set. A preliminary exam was scheduled for March 18 at 10:15 a.m.
