RIVERTON TWP.
— Two people were injured as the result of a rollover crash on
South Brye Road Monday night.
The driver, Elizabeth Wilson, 43, Ludington, was pinned in the vehicle and had to be extricated using the Jaws of Life. She was airlifted by Aeromed, to Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.
Andrew Wicklund, the 50-year-old passenger, was transported by ambulance to Memorial Medical Center in Ludington. He was treated and released.
The accident was reported shortly after
10 p.m. It took place between Anthony and Marrison roads. Life EMS, Mason County Sheriff’s Dept., Oceana County
Sheriff’s Dept., Michigan State Police, Riverton Fire Dept. and
Ludington Fire Dept. rescue responded to the scene. The sheriff’s
department crash investigation team was being called to
investigate. We will post more information when it becomes
