Soccer coach charged with CSC

LUDINGTON — Todd Lane Johnson, 39, 624 W. Hansen Road, Amber Township, has been charged by the Mason County Prosector’s office for criminal sexual conduct third degree. Johnson was the Mason County Central girls varsity soccer coach until he resigned prior to the beginning of the current school year. A Mason County Sheriff’s Department press release stated that the incident allegedly involved a student.

Johnson is to have no unsupervised contact with females under the age of 18 and must have an evaluation pertaining to the charged offense. He is also to have no contact with the alleged female victim, who is a 2011 graduate of MCC High School.

The Ludington businessman has been charged with CSC third degree. He has been arraigned and released on $10,000 bail.  A preliminary court examination is scheduled for Feb. 13 at 11:15 a.m.
