Holiday parade is Nov. 24

LUDINGTON – Aglow on the Avenue Holiday Parade is scheduled for Saturday, November 24. There is no entry fee to participate. Line up begins at 6 p.m. and step off is at 6:30 pm. The parade travels east on Ludington Avenue from Gaylord Avenue to Harrison Street.

Parade entry forms are now available at the Ludington and Scottville Area Chamber of Commerce office, located at 5300 W. US 10 or online at www.ludington.org.

A holiday open house will start the evening’s holiday fun at the Ludington library at 4 p.m. The library open house will be offering kids games and craft activities, complimentary cocoa and cookies. Unlike in past years, the annual lighting of the Christmas tree will not be held prior to the parade. Instead Santa will stop at James Street Plaza during the parade to light the tree. Immediately after the parade, the Ludington Area Center for the Arts will host Santa for pictures. The Book Mark will host story time and complimentary cocoa.
