SCOTTVILLE — The annual Scottville Harvest Festival begins Thursday afternoon. The Harvest Festival’s roots go back to 1910 when an ox roast was held. The free ox roast tradition continues to this day. Shown in the photograph are the 2012 Harvest Festival Queen candidates. The queen competition will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Scottville Clown Band Shell.
