Harvest Festival queen competition applications being accepted

SCOTTVILLE — Preparation for the 2012 Harvest Festival Queen competition is underway and applications are now being accepted.

The Harvest Festival Queen Pageant is scheduled for Thursday, September 20, 2012. Applications can be found on www.ludington.orgor picked up at the Ludington & Scottville Area Chamber of Commerce office. The entry deadline is Thursday, August 30, 2012.

In order to participate, contestants must be female between the ages of 16 and 20, single with no children, a resident of Mason County, and willing to meet new people and have fun.

The 2012 Harvest Festival Queen will receive a $500.00 scholarship donated by the Ludington & Scottville Area Chamber of Commerce and the 1^st runner-up will receive a $250.00 scholarship donated by West Shore Bank.
