Irish Fiddler Kevin Burke and American guitarist Cal Scott entertained a full house Saturday night at West Shore Community College Center Theater. The concert was perfect timing, one week before St. Patrick’s Day. Burke has been dubbed as the World’s Greatest Irish Fiddler. Though Irish, he grew up in London in an Irish neighborhood. He credits that experience for helping him learn a variety of Irish songs. The night was opened up by West Shore professor Seàn Henne and friends who played some traditional Irish and American folk songs.
