The Ludington Lake Jump Board has decided the beneficiary for the 2013 Ludington Lake Jump will be West Shore Pregnancy Care Center. The center was founded in 1993 inspired by the act of a young scared 16 year old girl who discarded her infant in a trash bin behind Ludington High School.

Since its inception, the West Shore Pregnancy Care Center has had hundreds come forward as volunteers, staff members, donors, and supporters.

Today, the West Shore Pregnancy Care Center is moving into its new location near the intersection of Tinkham and Washington avenues, the former location of Dr. Hill’s office. Previously, the center was located on First Street in the Ludington Industrial Park.

The 2012 Ludington Lake Jump is scheduled for Saturday, April 7 with the proceeds going to the Ludington Area Center for the Arts.
