9-year-old injured after crashing truck into tree.

LUDINGTON — A 9-year-old was injured Friday morning after she drove a pickup truck into a tree at a residence at 110 N. Lavinia Street. 

The pickup was westbound on Court Street when it left the south side of the street and then drove into the yard of the house located on the southeast corner of Lavinia and Court streets. 

The driver was taken by ambulance to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital for non life-threatening injuries. 

Responding to the crash were Ludington Police Department, Ludington Fire Department and Life EMS.
